In May 2020, the beginning of the deconfinement of the island of Maio rhymes with the beautification of the “Croisette” Vila do Maio.
Right in front of Casa Evora, the street runs along the beach to the airport and borders most of the shops and restaurants.
This requalification comes after a first phase which made it possible to develop the point, the promenade and the access to the beach.
The roadway is planned with a modification of the widths for vehicles and pedestrians as well as a new layout of the central medians and a new vegetation with plantings more adapted to the visual and practical aspects.
For Casa Evora this is notably the opportunity for a better view of the bay of Maio.
