We made the desert beaches, we bathed, tasted a necessary picnic kindly prepared by Christina the cook emeritus of Casa Evora, set off to meet the young goats of the year in the desert heights of Ribeira dom João. Then we went to the north beaten by the winds, visited the charcoal kilns in operation, even took the opportunity to load our mules with 2 bags in anticipation of the big weekend celebrations.
Back exhausted, we enjoyed a delicious cocktail facing the sunset on the terrace of Casa Evora before a well-deserved good shower.
